From my place to:
Mexico city.
London
Iceland
Ilulissat, Greenland.
Artic Circle then back to Ilulissat
Nuuk, Greenland
Iceland
Driving around the whole Island of Iceland
Back the same way home.
From my place to:
Mexico City
Athens, Greece
Some Islands of Greece
Izmir Turkey
By bus around the country of Turkey
Ankara to Cairo Egypt.
Nile river
Aswan and Abu Simbel Egypt
Cairo
Amsterdam
Mexico
Home.
Between 30 to 33 days each one.
From my place to:

I did enjoy those journeys –and a few others- after my 24 yr marriage on my own means.
Before that, my partner’s graduate school (PhD) my children’s school, getting a house, getting a car (s)...... were a priority,
until it was time for me.

6 days on a Suzuki 380cc 2 stroke from Hackensack New Jersey to Sanford Florida and back. The first 3 hours were in the pouring rain. I never felt wetter in my life.

32 hours by car, 2,200 miles alone Michigan to southern California.

I would have to say from Alberta to PEI, by carand back 2 weeks later..so probably about 7,000 miles give or take a few..
ohh and cant forget that greyhound bus ride back in '82 same amount...only by bus that time.
Really don't recommend doing that since they stop at every little town along the ways, so about 4 to 5 days with a 2 yr old..
