It is easy to blame others when many times it takes 2 to tango.
For me, it is helpful to look back and thoughtfully consider and analyze with an honest and critical mind, what went wrong and how I contribute to that.
In most cases, we were not compatible from the beginning, as I was looking at the wrong things to be attracted to, and I also was seeking out men who were just like me. For my personality type, that was not the right choice, but I didn't understand that simple concept for most of my adult life. Once I connected the dots, I believe I have a better understanding of what a good partnership looks like for me and I am quite selective. I prefer being single rather than being with someone that who is not the Yin to my Yang.
you learned a lot from your past. I agree with your thinking "being single rather than being with someone that who is not the Yin to my Yang". this is huge world and people find partner of same mentality. I hope you will get one soon..
guysimple: In this site most of us are single. We either had bad break up or separated nicely. How is your view about your ex. Does you ever think about him/her?
No. There's a reason why one's ex is in the past and I leave it there. I don't dwell on the what-might-have-been, its futile. What happened.... happened.
Its sad and it would've been wonderful if it'd worked out but it didn't. There's a huge world out there and a wealth of adventures to be had....
PRAY, FORGIVE, BLESS THEM EVERY DAY, I GUESS THERE ARE TIMES, PEOPLE GROW APART. I AM NOT HAVING A MAN THAT DOES WRONG AROUND MY HOME. STRAIGHT UP. I AM 53, I AM MATURE , HAPPY, MY EXES ALL WANT TO KEEP ON WITH THE GAME. NOT ME, PEACE HH

My EX husband, he's never been a good father to my child. I filed my divorced 13 years ago. It was a real bad break up. But as years goes by, I learned how to forgive and forget. He will always be the father of my child but I'm much happier without him in my life.

My ex is a good person, but what happened between us left me feeling hollow and disenchanted for quite a while.
