ali110: Is Scotland going to be seprated from UK ? whats problem ?
I think they'll stay. I think it's just 60-minute nationalism from predominantly bourgeoisie Scots. Only SWPLs could see England as being too culturally different and out of touch from Scottish interest whilst having nothing to say on the matters of mass immigration, multi-culti and European rule.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Scotland leaving, however. The apolitical moron vote may very well win the day.

Oh I agree, Ali. Scotland's choice is between the UK or the EU, there is no option for an 'independent' Scotland. And worse still the whole issue is a red herring that has set back Scottish politics back years. The rest of Europe's great nations are fashioning a response to the great recession and the idiocy of the beforetimes, whereas Scotland is still stuck on this fantasy.

I don't think they will break away, if they get a better deal and more financial concessions out of it, good luck to them, but a few are in it for power, On the point of Europe it is in England's interests to break away from Europe, we're financially propping up half of it. In that instance it would make sense for Scotland to break away from the UK, and stay with Europe to collect the loads of lovely subsidies from them
reb56: subjects back to braveheart, brits make ireland mad,too/IRA,arrogant?
Ah no, England don't make us mad anymore. We're all friends now!
They visit us, we visit them. Some of us live there, some of them live here. And some are related.
As far as Scotland is concerned, they're a great bunch of people and if the majority vote for independence then that's what they should get. It might hurt them economically but then again, it might not. I'm sure they have it all worked out. Good luck to them!!!
