Lot's of hypocrites... As I said how many people step over a drunk in the street or a homeless bum who probably suffers from some form mental illness and do nothing? But when a millionaire comedy stars takes his life they all bow their heads and say "what a great guy"..
Where were his so call friends when he needed them most????

Yes support is vital or otherwise the person who is sick becomes more isolated and alone and it all depends on the type of mental illness one had,..a person could be a danger to themselves they might think others are out to harm and the person in the delusional state mind has been sensitive to newse on the television,radio whatever it is and in their sensitive confused mind they want to do good and when they take a pysco tic attack it must be horrific for them,,,that is why medication is the first thing that's needed but sometimes it takes the person along time to accept they have an illness,the great thing is a person can rebilitated and get better its all about the mind body and soul one step at a time..Russell Crowe in beautiful mind gives people an insight into mental illness,I think it's wrong to put labels on it as such as each person with the same condition will have same symptoms but its about the person as a whole we all different character personality,etc,.people do get well again and learn to manage it and it should never be a stigma to talk about it,,I think mental illness now is not looked upon as it was in the past but still it needs more awareness and the stigma gone,
