Purely from an observational stance I would dispute that. Admiring something from a distance and setting up house with it are two completely different things
There isnt one woman who has lost a lot of weight who wont say that she is happier thinner and it was an act when she was fat.
MADDOG69: Have you seen beautiful women in Brazil or Africa? I can assure you... beauty follows a few evolutionary rules across the races and cultures. A locally beautiful woman in africa or brazil will look just as beautiful here, notwithstanding personal preferences.

Well unfortunately for them wonderbra just never did get that far out.

We live in an age where the image of perfection has become an obsession, we have to have the perfect clothes, the perfect body, perfect hair, perfect house, with perfectly manicured lawns, with a perfect partner and perfect children.....and there is always someone, somewhere, willing to sell us the perfect product to achieve perfection.
Often when you see behind facade of these perfect lives, everything is far from perfect.
People need to accept that imperfection is far more common than perfection, and they might actually start being happy, instead of being miserable because they are less than perfect.

However, there exists an ilk who sighs a collective in celebration of imperfection and thanks the gods for the existance of others
Everyone knows a member of that ilk. At least I hope so....Unless one stops striving to be anything other than comfortable in one's own skin, there will be continued searching for that elusive "something" to make you feel more complete.
