monteisback: I definitely understand what you meant. Stick to your beliefs. I would never support a man unless he was totally disabled.

inn0cent_soul: hmmm ...
and you know what, life is changing here too. Cost of living is becoming burdensome in urban areas. Many females have to go out, earn and share financial expenditures!
But what happens is that certain guys start relying on the income of ladies. They lose the spark to study, find work, or progress further!
I was just stating an experience dealing with an empty pocket ROMEO !!!

Hi Inn0cent wave

Nothing wrong with wanting your romantic partner to contribute financially to the life you wish to have together. Financial independence is always preferable to being dependent on someone else but this does not mean that a person who does not bring money into the joint household is not contributing in other ways. My mother never earned a salary in her life but no amount of money would suffice to pay her for the work she did in taking care of our home, raising children and supporting my father every step of the way through their 53 (and counting) years of marriage. A romantic partnership is not a corporate one where contributions are measured in cash figures, but a partnership where each contributes what is necessary for a happy and fulfilling life together, be it the man or the woman, or both, who ensure financial stability. JMO.

Well said LadyDiz, my wife never worked until all of our children were in school.Even then it was her choice to go to work. One can't put a dollar value on her being a home maker until our kids were in school. Our children grew into being responsible young adults and her being there for them when they were young certainly had a lot to do with it.

inn0cent_soul: my religion and my belief both requires male to financially maintain and sustain me (whether I earn or not)
and they have no right in my earnings ( if I earn)
I know My male has to be a real MAN; kind, nice, protective, and responsible (financially and otherwise)

or she gonna get married (arranged style n pretty sure she aint gonna like that. cz family comes first and not herself.) but thats wat i think.
also. wake the fudge up. life aint a bed of roses. nothin is gonna come to u in a platter. go make ur own bread and feed urself. people like u make me hurl. religious fanatics. wake the fudge up woman
ur only 19.
u really do need to see the world. n im not sayin from the media.
get out into the real world. not jus in pakistan. go see places. then u will know ur soo called demands are jus meaningless cz u pretty much are not loved in your family. and u dont know wat love is. u jus want money. money is everything for u. u cant buy true happiness. true happiness is what u share with someone u love. doesnt matter if they make money or not. if u love each other then u can move worlds. but hey this is not jus one guy talkin.
but u on the other hand. really need to open ur eyes. accept the facts.
ur 19.
u jus want money money money
go do us all a favor and buy some lottery tickets.
and i hope and pray u win big. so u would shut the fudge up. and stop ur dang drama.
cz lets be honest here. u love the drama. hence all this.
so ur guy. ahem. ex. let him finish his education and then get a job. its like u want everything now now now.
nothing comes easy. time and patience is wat u need. but u should know this better. kinda hard for someone to get a good job without any experience and qualifications.

inn0cent_soul: I broke with him
few months back
and yet he came back
appeared like a SMS, a message on facebook
trying to rekindle long lost relation
but nothing worked
and nothing can WORK
until and unless
he would assure me financial stability
a good life and a better future
Nothing will work
until he will take oaths
nothing will work until he will prove his worth
NOTHING WILL WORK !!!

For you IS:

Relationship is a TEAMWORK. A GIVE and take relationship.

And IF you want to achieve something, then you have to work for it.

This is how my parents brought me up .. and this is how I brought up my daughter.

NEVER rely your future from anyone. You have to work for it.

Innocent-soul, it's ok to seek the world if you are so confident in your ability to get all your demands. You forget to ask for the sun and moon.
