Benny1518: Nidi... Yes. McDonald is a major ltinational company. People love to eat their food.
It's not really up to the company to set the minimum wage standard anyway.
Just mulled it over. It would cost them about 250 million a year. They can certainly afford it, but it goes against all capitalist principles, so I can't see them volunteering
Benny1518: No. The company is one of the riches in the world.
That's be about £10 an hour sterling; too much to pay somebody to flip burgers. The semi-skilled and care workers often don't get that when burger flipping is unskilled and I'd rather serve arseholes than wipe arseholes.
Merriweather: I am with you there... that stuff is nasty... I cant eat it even if you paid me... I cant eat it...
I think the present minimum wage should be reset back to the 1968 one of $1.60 per hour. Doing so would overnight incentive these earners to seek a better career path than McDonalds.

Brilliant idea..
Sadly, a lot of people eat that rubbish, not because it is nice, but because it is cheap... and that is the shame of it...
and I guess it doesn't need mentioning ..the not healthy bit...
