He prolonged the conflict. Refused a deal with one of your hero's(Gerry Fitt)...Brought down Sunningdale that would have saved thousands of lives and ends up being a chuckle brother with Marty Broy and cosied up to the Quislings.......

What do you think? Are you wiping the tears...?

There could be a feint possibility that the word bigot could turn up somewhere in association with the late reverend. However, although I don't agree with most of his ideals, I strangely found the man to be a comic genius in a twisted kind of way.

Of course there should be a ban on rubber bullets, what's wrong with good old lead bullets? Or, Old Red socks in Rome, etc . laugh

I think he only agreed to come into the peace process when the ultimatum was put to him by Westminster, to either join the talks or Britain was pulling out of NI?

And then his friends in the DUP knifed him in the back like Brutus did to Ceasar...

Ian Jr has been side-lined at the moment. Pete the Punt is on his way out and doesn't have the clout he once had... At present no one is sure how the DUP will fair in the future.. I haven't heard one political commentator be concrete on the DUP future.. My money is on Jeffery Donaldson, he'll make a stand if and when there is a leadership election..Gregory Campbell is too old school..Poots is a walking disaster.

Yea I think that's what is wrong with politics in general too many old school where their beliefs and myths, lol, are handed down from generation to generation then nothing changes,

Older politition s sometimes get too stuck in their ways and the past and forget what it's like to be younger in mind,I think they have more younger people in politics to give fresh ideas, yes experience mixed with the new.

What about a joint Unionist leadership team of Wee Willie Frazer and Jamie Bryson? They would be great for a laugh. laugh

Jamie is legend...

In fairness to Willie.. I can understand his bitterness. Half his family were killed/shot up by the the Provisonals..

I said else where I personally believe Pete the Punt has been offered a peerage and is simply biding his time... And the the DUP will be in for a public cat fight.

Snowy we are all waiting with baited breath on what you think of Big Ian's legacy..

Personally you'd be better of watching the documentary I posted then listen to a podcast of tonights Evening Ulster on Radio Ulster and then you just might make sense...
