it's not a wifi problem, ....have you tried chrome, or opera, and does the problem persist..?....sounds related to codec, which really goes back to flask player older versions of browsers are very stubborn with which version of flash they like its a trial by error problem literally...

Try disabling the on-access scan in your anti-virus software.

Try a system restore to a previous date (a date which you know as being when everything was working ok)

Make sure you save important stuff (say on to a memory stick) which you have saved from that time, before you do a system restore.

I dont bother with saving stuff to something removable as its usually all saved on email anyway.

I dont even bother with anti virus etc...it shows down your computer anyway...system restore is enough to get rid of bugs

Never had a problem with this method.

What always work for me is to pick up the laptop, grasping it firmly with both hands, extending it over your head in an arching motion before slamming it back down onto the table at maximum velocity. You then go down to the store and buy a new one.

I get the same problems sometimes. It's Flash Player I think that is buggy. Your supposed to completely close down the browser and start again. When you have closed the browser open Task Manager and look for firefox or iexplorer or whatever and also look for Flash.............exe or whatever it will be called and force close that again.

Also update flash if you haven't already.

Youtube has been having hissyfits recently. Some videos work and some just leave people with a black screen. More often than not, they just don't load at all, no matter how often you refresh the screen.

If videos work elsewhere, it's not a problem with your PC. I assume you tried loading a video on another website?

I remember now...I had this problem and solved it by turning of all the add ons on my browser

Then got rid of "ad blocker" (and just use this on another browser if I want ads to be "turned off" as the site is paid for by having heavy pop ups ads...usually free movie sites are like this)

I've had my browser "hijacked" a few times and sometimes the only way to definitively to get rid of spy ware is to use a program, as I have found one or two can be stubborn to remove (I use the ones on my last post)

The utilities 3...finds out-of-date drives and updates too, for you to install free. Thats helped me out as well (when trying to fix some problem)

All this, can be done without paying anything or someone else to fix the "problem"

However try the real simple things first.
