OK, forget Herbalife.
Thinking about relocating to Bulgaria.
I need a lot of space, I love the warm weather, I am tired of crowds, bad food and pollution.
I love grapes and looks they grow everywhere.
My friend from Belgium moved to Bulgaria a few years ago and feels very happy. I had some nice pen pals in Bulgaria many years ago.
I can also read and understand their Cyrillic or whatever it is. :)

And the country is so cheap.

Your advice please. Thank you.

Yes go for it before you change your mind or others try to,haha,

If you have the means and ways of living there then do,

Maybe a stay there for a time would be best to suss it out,

Only you know at the end of the day,

Lots luck and keep us posted how you get on,handshake .wine .

Oh no, I will never change my mind.
I have been looking everywhere recently, including Scandinavia. lol
You do not need a lot of money to be happy.
You can always teach English at the local school. :)

By the way, Bulgarian ladies supply my friend with milk, eggs, cheese.

I might find a Bulgarian gent who would like to take care of me too. :)

An escape plan? Why?
If I am moving, this is forever.
People are very skeptical but I am very determined, especially if I like the place.
You know, in some villages people do not lock their door in Bulgaria.
So much for this civilized UK. :))

Do you really want to go to Bulgaria, I visited Bulgaria 2006, what a waste...there they still have commie thinking. At the hotel they told me to leave my passport at desk, I asked why, woman said, cause is law, I said ussr law, I said, I"ve been Western Germany, never, ever, they would ask to leave passport at desk, woman said, this is Bulgaria, not Germany, I said, get me manager, woman said, I'm manager, I said, ok, I'm not staying. This happened to me Burga's City/beautiful city/too many commies.

I can deal with it, however, this is how they used to do in some European countries. But Bulgaria is in the EU now and its the end of 2014. :)

Not sure if this is a wind up but on the off chance its genuine.....

First Jim is correct, you need to have an escape plan, anyone who moves to a strange new country, needs to have in place a secure way to be able to return to their homeland, just in case.
You should have a sum of money lodged with an international bank, that only you have access to, and never touch unless for emergency.
Second, you say you can read understand their cyrillic language, but not sure if thats correct, this seems to me you have not fully researched the destination, moving to another country is NOT the same as moving to another town in the same country, you must research deeply, you need to familiarise yourself with local customs, language and money.

I adore travelling, I have spent most of my working life living in different countries around the world, and would never go anywhere without my escape bag/account and researching as much as I can before arriving.

So, if you are serious, then wish you great luck and success, living in a new country is exciting and can be exhilarating, but do it right, if it all implodes 12 months down the road, and you are stuck there with no job, no home and no money, no one will help you, certainly not the British Embassy, they will just tell you to get a job and pay your own way home.

Commie thinking. No strip malls. Hardly any fast food.
A wasteland.
