Is the sun there closer to earth then here? I do know that it has been said that too much sun has had an effect on some people. Here they joke about that you will "rust" instead of "tan" here in Oregon because of the rain.

of course it has to be for all the right reasons... but all in good time..

I have a brown picket fence!;) and a very beautiful house and garden where I live with my beautiful girl.

it took me an awful long time to realise a family does not need to be 2.5 children and a married mother and father..and to stop feeling the guilt that was attached to not having a full family for her.

The important thing in a relationship is honesty. everything else after that will follow and work itself out.

marriage is simply a piece of paper and one child plus a parent or parents still a family makes...and two married parents and 2.5 children dies not ensure a happy family!

I've had men promise me the world. ..words are easy...actions are important. its the simple things..making me tea..kicking a ball with my daughter...ensuring I'm okay...knowing what to say...buying me silly socks or a stupid biro because he thinks it will make me smile...intelligent conversation...building towards the future...plans...holidays...maybe a house. But that's building something together as a couple because you love each other not just telling someone you love them. ..out of need want laziness loneliness. ..or because you think it will get them in the sack or keep then in a relationship with you

I disagree.

I don't want any man to say that and putting upon me the pressure. I want first to have an opportunity to get know him without feeling I am in the casting of "who is going to become my wife?". I want the man to ask to marry me and be a mother of his kids when the time comes. I am not saying I will. I am not saying I won't :)
But for the time being I want him to be real person. Someone whom I would like to meet. He doesn't have to impress me, lure me with marriage and perfect family ilusion, pay me compliments or fell in love with me without seeing my picture.
He just needs to be a human being with a brain and soul he can use when writing/mailing/chatting/meeting me.

Do you, really, really think that asking for a "human being with a brain and soul he can use" is too much? :)))

Well, poor me. Going to die accompanied by cats I am allergic to.

I wish I could make light of it, in reply,, but in truth, we have a huge hole in the ozone layer, and that hole is above our country..

Which means, that the sun is very dangerous.. it leaves terrible marks on the skin, and also, for very very many, skin cancer... melanoma, and many of the melanoma's can be frozen off with dry ice. Its customary to seek a doctor for skin cancer spots regularly.. and the process of removal is quick and easy, however, many don't, and die as a result..
