peachmelba: My cousin got a fright of his life this morning when he spotted the willow spider in the bathroom,he ran out screaming,his mam who was alone in the house with him while man of the house was at work faced her fears ,first of all she sprayed it with citribang then she killed it,
She described it as having thick legs the same size as a ciggerette,,it had the bib hard shell on its body and she said loads grunge came out of it.
She had to kill it as her grandchildren come to house and couldn't risk anyone gettingg a bite from it,
She a heroine..

Yes I couldn't believe it when my mam told me earlier on,,,my aunt lives just a mile from me in Wexford town,,she said it was very big and yes it was the willow one,
We on the south east have it very mild on the coast and we are not far from Devon where they were there first,
I'm bad enough about spiders never mind hearing about this,
The good thing is the cold is here now,
How do they get here do they swim across the sea,?

spiders are getting bigger and bigger....no lie...A huge One came in past my front door the last day. It was so big I actually got my camera and put a euro down near it to take a picture of it. it started moving really quickly....and took off with my euro and my camera!

Yes but this spider my aunt killed was a willow widow spider it had the same big shell on its back and very thick legs,was very big,
They can give a nasty bite,,,.

They knew straight away it was the willow,
I've seen huge black spiders but they don't bite like the willow ,,.

My aunt is a heroine she sprayed false widow spider with citribang while her son just screamed and stood watching her .after spraying it she went in for the kill..a few whacks with an instrument and it was
