Well done. applause

The bus, that is a beauty... if you cut out the bus, put it on a layer, and work it to get all the effect of banged up and tinny, and then work on the drums.. they are well overexposed, and pick the whole scene apart, then, bang it back together, it should be wonderful...

You'd be able to sell it Robp.. for probably lots.. Wowapplause

Not a five min job tho...

Or pay someone to do it...

Robp...Hi ah..

I don't have photoshop, I have Corel PP pro and I have spent more hours than I should revisiting this graphic stuff... this last week , only because I have had the time to get stuck into it.
To be honest, I have done a year full time in graphics, but that was ages ago, and now this week, I have really honed in and focussed!!

I bought Corels first program way back then, but in the graphic course, we used photoshop and a whole array of programs in 3D..animations drawn and scanned for vid etc..
of course, everything has changed so much, it was overwhelming, wow and as I work so many ruddy hours, I was always too tired to get back into it.. moping

I have been watching Jenna Martin work her way in several videos tonight for entertainment, as its done so fast, there is no way on earth anyone could take it in. Fantastic stuff.. brilliant.

But hey, I will have that bus photo... no promises that I will be able to do it justice though, not yet.. It would take me months to recreate that especially when I get back to work.. but for the moment, while I have free time, (what a lovely feeling) I am going to keep on with this learning at night time, and take photos etc in the daytime..

I could easily live this non working life, hahah, but in truth, I told my daughter in law yesterday, I was missing work..

OK.. I need my head read..

doh doh hole

Oh... I have one of those.. I bought it from Harvey Norman for about $130 a couple of years ago..

I also have tons of slides that my hubby took from the Darwin days, and I have only scanned very few.. works ok tho..

Rob, your photos took me by surprise .. So full of nostalgia, their presentation, to me, capturing perfectly a time that would stir emotion in many, not only those who served.

They must mean a lot to you, thank you for sharing wine hug

yeah that was the landrover i drove from arrival in Saigon

His name is Ronnie Leveitte (spelling?) US of A Sargent in the earlier posts recreation image which was seven or eight miles outside Saigon on Mekong River. Ronnie had a motorbike so we went out there a couple times, the Vietcong had a similar relaxation center further up the river, to best of my knowledge neither side targeted the other.
Bit like the NZ medic patched up VC who after went on there way, i assisted medic treat Vietnamese with bullet hole in middle his hand, aid he had been hoeing his paddie an hit bullet with hoe, good story

Ronnie taught me how to water ski that's him skiing, lots of tree trunks and junk floating in the river (bodies to), quite dirty but was free

This is what the idiots in NZ sent over as replacement (sweat box in 43/45 degrees) replacement for the battered Landrover that probably did three years or something in Saigon completely stuffed
