It's Climate Change, not global warming.
The Earth has been warming slowly for millions of years. We may have accelerated it a few hundred years, but not to the degree where it's panic stations.
Damage has been done anyway. We can only try and maintain it to it's natural increasing rate, by being more careful.

What nobody ever mentions is that these things go in cycles. Every time I see something like this, and I mean no offense to anyone, I am reminded about Ted Danson doing some kind of environmental TV special in 1988. He kept on and on and finally said the oceans were going to disappear in ten years if mankind didn't do something to stop it...26 years later, the oceans are still around. Sure, things are changing but it will turn around when mother nature is ready to do it. As for higher temps, we just had one of the coolest summers ever where I live in Northeastern Michigan.

Kinda Déjà vu for me in a way; as way back to 1972, I wrote a dissertation for our English class discussion and my topic was:- "Man and his Every Changing Environment" Remember then, we (here in SA) had no TV & my research was practical - observation of our parks, estuaries, rivers, dams, seas and oceans...and I noticed the blatant disregard for nature. It was a dumping ground for all the trash man could muster and dispense with total disregard to the environment...
I have no doubt this similar practice can be observed in most countries - mainly developing or 3rd world where environmental laws are lax.
Rich and first world nations are not exempt; they also pollute the environment via oil spills, opencast mining, deforestation, excessive carbon releases and the release of harmful chemicals into the rivers and oceans.
However there are consequences, no matter what it is termed; Earth will regenerate as its ecology balance is disturbed and threatened.
Droughts, acid rain, irregular rainfall patterns, stronger hurricanes, severe heat waves etc are some of the natural disasters associated with or the result of the ecology imbalances - with more to come if we don't wake up to our wrongful actions.

Global warming is a scam to justify increased taxation and global (G8) control of resources.
CO2 is neither the most active nor the most abundant greenhouse gas.
And greenhouse gases, even if taken all together, don't drive the climate at all.
Solar activity drives the climate. It fluctuates according to regular cycles. Some involve only a few years, others take centuries.
The Global Warming scammers always ignore the variation of solar activity and pretend it is constant when that is not the case at all.
