A lot of their places were already smoke free anyway. They're just wrapping it all up now to make it company wide.

Nothing worse than going to a meeting and finding the building smells of stale smoke. It's enough to put potential clients off.

What i always enjoy, is driving past smokers taking cover, from the freezing wind/rain/snow while they are willing to freeze their asses off, while paying to poison their lungs.

All the other staff deserve longer t-breaks, at equal the people sneaking off for a ciggie break. I'm not cruel enough to splatter them with water from the kerb, but it should make them think how badly they need to give up.

quit smokin camels years ago
quit eaten nabisco products too
ah get sick on oreos
nabisco owns rjreynolds

love some of the lesser known cigar makers
its all natural tobacco no fillers, no chem.
can always tell good tobacco
when you find a few worms in the mix.

kind of like Non gmo foods you'll find worms
in the mix.

roundup based corn and soy, etc' kills all the bugs and bees and if birds get a hold of it kills them too. read once one kernel of gmo corn will kill a song bird...

noticed in a GMO seeded corn field, no grasshoppers present
and 100 feet away they're swarmen... what does that tell ya?

banning cigarettes from their workplace?? well I guess that means their product is poison... Kind of like monsanto bans it's Own GMO Food from their Own Cafeterias. Maybe they'll ban the eating of oreos at the cookie factory too.

but in the defense rjreynolds of days gone by...
they used to make a good product... I knew old gals in the family that smoked camels till they died and all of em made it past 95 and they never got sick, never went to the doctor..

The self imposed alienation while smoking was my impetus to quit finally. In deference to my family's health back in the mid eighties I chose to smoke outside and one Christmas gathering at my sister's home had me looking in through the picture window at the rest of my family sharing Christmas cheer around the hearth. I had been away from my family due to alcoholism and living a long way off and had finally gotten back to them and here I was ostrasizing myself again...it just did't make sense anymore. You are right about the acceptance of extra time away (breaks) from the job to have a smoke and I have often felt in unfair and not above mentioning the very fact at the next communal break.thumbs up
