Friend of mine got it done, with great success. He got it done by a specialist in Dublin who is meant to be very good, better than the Optilaze people whose ads you see regularly in the paper.

2 friends have had it done.
Both total successes. Delighted with it.
A friend of my mom's had it done,
she was like 70 then and said she never
saw things so clearly before.
She went to a hospital, where there's a
team of docs that decide what's best,
i guess better than those private
clinics.

Thats going to be interesting, ill just have to watch out for anyone trying to secretly trying to implant me with a womb and all the relevant gubbins, then impregnating me when im caught off guard, say, doing the washing up or something....well, ya never can tell...
But i jest, whats the real deal, do babies look bigger?....

Nice typo, i should do it more often!.....
The there is a subtle advantage to keeping with glasses in that they protect your eyes from UV and reduce wrinkles around the eyes keeping you naturally younger looking.

Childbirth for some reason can undo the good of the surgery..

I am a prime - blind as a bat at a young age candidate for this surgery but I still am drawn to the ... point point whatever percentage they say went blind, or blurred vision, or had watery/itchy eyes (given my current allergies - getting worse eyes is a reason to stay the same - so I think).
My Uncle had it done - said it was amazing - he's dead now - doubt it is related to the surgery
