I've been seeing an old friend down there on a romantic level for a little while now and she has suggested a couple of times now that I move back there ...
My problem is I just cannot do the cold there any more, I was down there in the dead of winter and all I could think of was getting back here ...
Even in winter here it gets chilly though after five years here I still do not own a jumper or a coat ...
I know in my heart I am not prepared to move back there and she knows it, so hmmmmmmmmm who knows ....

Queensland govt is crap so many protests on facebook bikies and broadwater spit protest groups (pot calling the kettle black SA govt and opposition are friggin useless)
After saying that team leader asked me what I'd do if my work closed down which is on the cards . I said move states except my elderly parents are starting to worry me so i need to stay here
. Hell I'm feeling the cold took me two years to feel it but i am cant wait to fish Friday when its 37 !!All the best on ya romance Prowler

Yesterday, my daughter reached 10 years living in Melbourne (yes, these days we do call residing in Melbourne "living"). I have been here just over 12 years.
Today, she and the other half (who did not really want to go) have by now done the drive up to Sydney to visit relos. Tonight she stays with her cousin & family.
Tomorrow, she will go and see her nephew for the first time (it was only parents & grandparents when she took me up to see him when he was born end of June).
She has a few dreads about going to Sydney...
....I know she does not miss that hot steamy humid weather.
....I know she does enjoying catching up with her cousin and family.
....I know she does so much want to see her nephew.
??? Could it be that my son (her younger brother) can by a complete rrrrshole because we moved to Melbourne and left him with his mother???
??? Could it be her mother (who now lives directly across the road from my son and she will have to be socialble to???????????
??? Could it be that woman who lives directly across the road from my son who sent her an email a bit after hearing about her having a crash when her 18 month old car was written off "Call me if you want to chat." ???????????
It took a lot for me to move away from my mother. She had remarried to a very good man, and my brother and sister lived near her. So I did not feel so bad in moving interstate...until after missing mum so much when I did.

When I was working on the boats on the Hawkesbury River out of Windsor (NSW), it was 4 seasons in one day when we did a run down towards Wisemans Ferry or Pittwater.
Melbourne can boast being than that ...... 6 seasons in one day.

Lol.....Yeah the weather is a bit changeable down there that's for sure, I grew up in Gippsland and some days it was bizzare to say the least.
