This is the guy who, while serving as President of the Senate, told Senator Pat Leahy to go f*ck himself for asking about Halliburton and how it was raping the treasury, and then had a victim of hurricane Katrina cuffed by M-16 totting secret service agents for saying the same to him. Regardless of any facts to the contrary and his own presidents recent statements, this is the piece of work who continues to affirm that Saddam had a link to Al Queda and 9-11, and who, with the lack of subtlety and grasp on common sense we’ve all come to know and love, suggested that a vote for his opponents, the Democrats, is a vote that will essentially make Al-Queda, the Taliban, Saddam Hussein and Satan engage in a circle jerk outside of your local pre-school before raping the teachers and eating American babies… All to the glee of a drunken Senator Ted Kennedy…
But there is one thing about Cheney that has always hit me as oddly humanizing. And her name is Mary Cheney.
Mary Cheney, for those of you that don’t recall the slash and burn rhetorical gang-raping that happened to anyone that mentioned her when this administration began it’s march into hubristic ultraviolence, is Cheney’s openly gay daughter. She does exist, regardless of her continual absences from typically mandatory political family functions for a Vice Presidents daughter like, oh I don’t know.. the Republican National Convention Finale. In all fairness, that might have been to allow Illinois Republican Senate candidate Alan Keyes a chance to set the flock straight about her father’s party and their stance on gay people. Keyes said (on camera) that, as a lesbian, Mary Cheney was a “selfish hedonist.” He wasn’t smiling when he said it, and to my knowledge hasn’t been slapped down for it…
I’d be inclined to admire d*ck for his adamant refusal to discuss his children, thereby protecting them from the scrutiny normally afforded the children of political heavyweights, if he didn’t pimp his daughter Elizabeth for every bit of political, white bread, heavy-breeder capital her 5-children bearing a** could garner in 2000. This is the ‘Compassionate’ in Compassionate Conservatism, BTW. At least they didn’t burn Mary at the stake on Super Tuesday to appease their batshittian flock.
But something has always smelled a little off about Mary. She’s always struck me as a Republican political operative in highly comfortable shoes. She has an uncanny ability to show up as the only lesbian in the room when virulently anti-gay groups need a window-fag.

First stop: The Coors Company…
Coors was under heavy fire from national gay-Rights groups for a long time owing to their funding of The Heritage Foundation. Those are the delightful people who wasted our time with the ‘Clinton Got A bl**job’ 24 hour network years ago. They also opposed the Legal Services Corporation (which provides legal aid to poor people) for giving legal assistance to gay and lesbian couples seeking to adopt children.
And it goes deeper than that With Coors. Ever heard of the Free Congress Foundation? The Coors family has had a long term relationship with them, serving as their chair (Jeffrey Coors) and as board members. Jeff filed a court brief in a same sex marriage case (in Hawaii) referring to homosexuality as ‘repugnant to…the laws of nature and nature’s God.’ he also quoted the charming William Blackstone in saying sodomy was “a crime of deeper malignancy than even rape,” and “an infamous crime against nature.” Coors actually used to require job applicants to take a polygraph test in which they asked about their sexuality. Gays were not hired.
Not exactly a hotbed of gay sensibilities. So, when Mary got there, she set to work as a gay and lesbian outreach coordinator. That sounds like it was an effort to ‘reach out’ to the gay and lesbian communitee to try and help Coors understand the demographic and work within Coors to change the culture of anti-gay, but in reality what she accomplished was ending a national gay boycott of the company with heavy advertising and men dressed in leather. Or, at least, Coors claims it ended the boycott. Apparently there’s quite a few gay bars spread across the USA that still won’t carry that piss-yellow swill. And these are men that go down on their partners after dancing all night in leather shorts. When you can’t get men with a taste for sweaty balls to drink your product, regardless of how many lesbians you hire to tout it’s virtues, methinks their politics are still actively against Adolph Coors (real name) and his shitty hop juice…
Second Stop: Lesbians For Bush…
That accomplished, she moved on to the big times. The Bush/Cheney ticket was running under a wildly no-fag policy. Bush was actively opposing gays in the military, against workplace anti-discrimination laws, and championed a ban on gay adoption. The Texan hate crime law died because he had a problem with it’s inclusion of s*xual orientation. The Log Cabin Republicans couldn’t even get a return phone call…
And then I think someone in the Bush campaign took a look around and asked: “Gee.. what if our openly honest portrayal of our hatred for queers loses us the moderate swing voters?!?”
Enter Mary Cheney. She joined the board of the gay-friendly Republican Unity Coalition. One of their stated goals: To make s*xual orientation “a non-issue for the Republican Party.” Right. That’s awful close to saying that the lives of blacks in America can be made into a non-issue for the NAACP…
Mary resigned from the board in 2003 to take up the role of Director Of Vice Presidential Operations for the Bush-Cheney 2004 Presidential re-election campaign. Without their window-lesbian, the RUC collapsed after it’s usefulness as a stage-prop ended, and was abandoned after the 2004 elections. She’s been with the White House ever since, ignoring her party’s stance on her unworthiness as a human being with a “Rah Rah Bush!”

Third Stop: Take One Pregnant Lesbian, Add A Shitstorm Of Rednecks…
And now Mary Cheney is pregnant. One wonders what’s next, as Bush tries ever so hard to shore up support for his party for the next election. I have a hard time believing that Cheney is going to be used as a prop this time, unless Bush decides to abandon the base that is showing signs of abandoning him. The sight of two lesbians with a child of their own, after Bush has stated time and again his support for keeping that kind of godless nonsense from happening, is going to cause much gnashing of teeth and rending of garments amongst these religious nutcases.
Oh God, I just pray that it is a boy. Can you imagine the hatred that’s going to rip apart that den of shit-heads if they have to be reminded that the lesbians they’ve mostly managed to ignore for all these years are going to be raising a boy? In God’s own country?!? It’s going to be interesting to watch.
Or not. Mary knows when to disappear. She did it at the RNC finale to give that douchebag Keyes his minute of hate, she’ll do it again. For her dad. She’ll be hiding in the White House cloakroom waiting for the day when he needs her again. Just in time to put some Compassionate Conservatism back in the ‘Party Of Inclusion.’

His support comes a a long tried and true system called the "backdoor politics" a covert system of exchange of services/support/contracts, with many many types of people, corporations, and yes other politician deeply imbeded. I used Cheney and "backdoor" in same sentence thats worth a laugh right there..


To address Cheney being "supportive" of his daughter, well the secrets the wives know have many a time kept a man inline,or in check, even politcal parties ie Jaqckie O and just recently Ol' Hillary herself have done well. I in all all honesty believe if he(cheney) had the ability he would return the world to the feudual or caste system.
Yeah Cheneys a real character, no doubting that, he's had 20 years to get his plans in place, never being the main character in any of them, just always being the common denomimator to so many arrangements that fall in the grey area of proper and improper, right and wrong doe not apply in the political venue nor does it apply to business.and cheney has a handle on how both are done quickly thourghly and discretely, everything that is heard about this man is after the fact after the ball is in play then the ooows and ahhhhs are heard but this game of politics and total world domination/control, it cannot just be stopped and start over. well my diarrheea of the fingers has to end.
