kerobaEscanaba, Michigan USA25 Threads 301 Postsjust what you have meant in someone else's life? I guess I just went about being me and didn't always take the time to think about what I mean to someone else. I try to be good and help people, but never put too much thought into it until yesterday. I had a long discussion with an old friend and found out a lot of what I did and said had a huge impact for the good in her life. How about you?

Having been a college teacher I have had a lot of students return from the "real world" to tell me that I had a huge impact on their life.
In addition to being a teaching I tended to be a bit of a personal trainer and coach. I was always convincing the students that they could do things they didn't believe they were capable of doing, and some of them were naïve enough to believe me! (ha ha)
So they went on to do great things! And then they returned to tell me that I was their inspiration.
That is a good feeling for sure.
I wish I could still be teaching!
