What would you, as a believer in the existence of god, accept as conclusive proof that god really exists? Or.
What would you, as a non believer in the existence of god, accept as conclusive proof that god really doesn't exist?
By proof I mean conclusive, unimpeachable, undeniable, absolute, unquestionable proof?
I've heard it said all my life that there is no way to prove or disprove that god exists and nobody has ever come back from the dead to say oh I saw god and we had a nice chat and he sends his greetings to all the people on earth.
So, what kind of proof would convince you one way or the other?
I really don't give religion that much thought, if at all. I will leave that up to those with an abiding faith or lack thereof, or for those who spend their entire life studying this subject.
I just want to dance in the luminous glow of the moon.

Sorry Oobs, there's been so many threads about God/no God and they never seem to go well so I'm gonna leave this one alone (other than this comment).
To my knowledge nobody has ever actually defined what proof would be the final word on the question, all people say is you'll never prove it one way or the other so I thought I would attempt to quantify what exactly would be acceptable as proof because unless everybody agrees on the definition of proof the question will never be answered.
Besides that these threads were getting kind of boring lately.

Try reading a few or several personal accounts of those that underwent the near-death experience, or of those that were actually pronounced dead but came back to life within 2 minutes. Some are written by those that experienced it, others by medical doctors and the people involved with full documentation. There are a good few dozen to choose from…if you read non fiction.
