Why does guttering leak every time it rains (duhh...obvious..there is a hole) but when you go up on the roof there are no holes in the guttering?
Got sick of a leak in today's storm and got the gunky gun out to stop the leak from underneath. How come it won't stick when it is wet?
And how come the hole gets so much bigger when you touch it?

If you're really desperate, you can use "Shelley's All Clear". It's like silicone but totally different formulation: stinks like heck. But it is supposed to stick to a wet surface... sorta.... kinda.

About 20 years ago, the Council I was working for was involved in a fatality where a large truck had struck a car killing the occupants where, according to the Defense Council "the road had bled (meaning tar-leakage to the surface) and the road was slippery and while the 14 ton truck had applied the brakes, the road was very slippery and impact had occured on this extremely hot day."
The Defence was very strongly arguing that the road surface was the main reason for the fatality.
Nothing to do with the truck travelling at 80km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone.
Nothing to do with the driver of the truck having spent a few hours at the local pub .... oops, the cops had failed to breathalyse him at the scene of the "accident"
.................. although considering the circumstances of that fatality, maybe they were not looking for the responsible person getting off for what he had done.
