Okay, we have some sort of something not really happening in Sydeney.

Is "today's incident" a personal isolated individual narrative or belief to engage or be inspired by some western country to inflame peoples through social media influences towards being anti-social towards everyone who disagrees with me and the next guy?

Muslims are blessed with countless blessings from God-Allah

No i think they are responding to an attack against Islam by George Bush, Hawk and Co in 1991.
I don't know why anybody would be surprised events like todays are happening across the glob

this is the one guy who should have been on a watch list , be paranoid to say he was deliberately left off the list , be naïve to say it could not happen . Leaving a known loose cannon around can have a predictable result . Constant crap saying he is/was no part of ISIL ignores that they don't hold meetings taking minutes of who was present with apologies sent along by absent members .

oh i dunno, mohamed was apposing the mass murder of millions of muslims, he expressed what he perceived as the truth, myself i think he probably got out of line in writing to parents of servicemen killed in afghanistan, even so, he is not necessarily wrong.
Though most of us understand Australian troops are just following orders, even if they are under our constitution illegal engagements, that its the lunatic mass murdering christian politicians, where the blame belongs.
I've been recently viewing pictures of whole cities that have been turned into rubble by the current bombing ongoing today, in northern iraq.

The appropriate authorities had held off all of those well-armed/well-trained troops to try and get a peaceful outcome.

Okay, first 3 guys out seemed to be

1...old guy
2.....ooh, why do I mince when I try to run?
3..velly solly..I see nuttin.

While I may disagree with "the responsibible authorities" not divulging information as it happens, I do appreciate that those same authorities are unwilling to pass on their tactics to possible future offenders/terrorists.

Guess police have been training how to implement method 2 a.m. plan 1 (a) for about twenty years so that probably actioned correctly according to plan 1 (a) sub section commence firing...enter

Flash grenades, automatic gunfire, more flash grenades, deafeningsounds of gunshots and the screams of hostages as they ran for safety echoed within the Lindt cafe at Sydney’s Martin Place.
“Hostage down”, could be heard among the explosion of gunfire.

NSW Police media have given the following information on those wounded:

- A 75-year-old female who received a gunshot wound to the shoulder – stable condition.

- A 52-year-old female who received a gunshot wound to the foot – stable condition.

- A 43-year old female with a gunshot wound to the leg – stable condition

- A 39-year-old male who received a minor facial injury due to gunshot – treated at hospital and discharged. [This man is a police officer.]

- A 35-year old pregnant female assessed for health and welfare purposes - stable.

- A 30-year-old pregnant female assessed for health and welfare purposes - stable.

+ killed three people.

Myself having been attacked by government for apposing there complete stupidity and by all accounts, liberal government attacked Pauline Hanson, Peter Slipper, Craig Thompson also premised on lies.

I guess i wonder if somebody had simply knocked cafe door and said hey mate your not the only the scum have attacked, even if you were subject to gross human rights violations, inhuman degrading treatment they are as mad as the maddest Muslim murdering scum, Israelis, American republicans perhaps he would have simply put aside his gun (if he had one) and stopped the nonsense he was engaged in.
Clearly he hadn't acted like a terrorist who would have caused others harm rather it appears he was pretty upset dud who the f..kin PM should have telephoned like he requested, personally i hope Abbott understands that he surely has direct or indirect responsibility for those killed and wounded

I disagree the responsibility for the murders is
1. Those bleeding heart do gooders who allowed him and others into Australia. Note the deafening silence from these.
2. The lawyers and judges who are now complaining that we should not blame them for bailing a known criminal so that he can murder 3 people.

Winny, 1 uncle (& his brother) came to Australia as refugees from war-torn Europe after WWII. Bruno & Ernie had been through a lot in their home country of Austria. As I found out later, it was a lot to do with their mum being Austrian & dad being German like some little upstart that caused a ruckus in Europe.

Both sought refugee status to come to Australia and they made it their home for the rest of their lives. And like many other of those emmigrants of the time, they became "Australians."

I have worked with many people born in other countries and have come to Australia. Most are glad to be away from the oppression they suffered and have embraced the Aussie way-of-life.

My sister-in-law is a good example of someone who has embraced a new lifestyle ... although I do see that she still has values/beliefs (??) from the old country after being here in Australia for the last 44 years. Personally, I do hope that she does pass on a lot of those values/beliefs to her grandchildren that she (and my brother in his way) has passed on to her children.

Nick Xenophon throws weight behind new inquiry into Martin Place siege

includes these comments

But he said the fact that several hostages were shot and two were killed demanded a more extensive inquiry than the six-week one already commissioned, which will be jointly led by the heads of the Prime Minister's and NSW Premier's departments.

There are also questions over ASIO's level of awareness and treatment of the gunman, Man Haron Monis.

robplum: I got a real surprise checking craig thompson matters, judge came out firing from the hip stating words to the effect the courts are not moral courts, but courts acting in accordance with laws.

Me, too. But more in keeping with the judge's description of Thompson's acts as "by deception" and the Prosecution's case being "wrongly worded."

In the 70s, I worked for the Federal Govt in Sydney. Whenever an election came up, senior management would come around and be very direct asking "Which Polling Booth are you going to be at to hand out How To Vote Cards for the Laboring Party?" People I knew in State Govt copped the same.

Prosecutors are Public Servants and lawyers. I am not surprised that the Prosecution's Case was wrongly or poorly worded. You only have to look at the proven charges against Peter Slipper & Geoff Shaw...defrauding the Govt with misuse of vehicles.

All of the hooha up in NSW about both sides of politics taking backhanders in recent years seems to have disappeared.

I have met a few honest politicians in my time. They have not really done as well as their silent colleagues.

with the exception of a conviction for being a public nuance in misusing the mail service
if he hadn't writing to the soldiers families expressing his opinion probably we would never have heard further about him.

Be interesting to see what sort of legal representation actually got filed, and an appeal was also filed in the high court, which like abbott, no longer upholds the Australian Constitution

Al Capone finally got nailed for "tax evasion." Not that he had personally or had ordered someone else to circumspect other laws of the time.

I do recall many years ago when Ex #1 worked for the NSW Govt Insurance Office (NSWGIO). This was the time (1970s) when sufferers of the alleged (because it could not really be proven) Greek Back made so many insurance claims for millions. Must admit that Uncle Ernie lost his bad-back claim after the insurance investigators filmed him dragging the garbage bin out (was about 1/4 the size of today's wheelie bins).

One of her colleagues in the early 70s was assessing a "Greek Back" claim of a rear-end veheicle collision. Then she noticed the rego as being her vehicle which had been damaged by a truck reversing into her vehicle while she had been at work....someone had left her a note of a truck reversing into her car parked at a railway station but unable to get the rego number.

The NSWGIO let the claim go through the legal system and then handed the claiment with the awarded cheque for the court decided amount (not quite $1M).......along with a writ for committing a fraudulant claim.

The hardest thing for authorities is to prove intent.

Ask Epirb about this one.

Were the shots intended to harm him or where they fired at feral pests that the perps had tried to eradicate and he (unfortunately) just happened to be in the vicinity?
