I've never dated or been involved with men younger than myself.
It has never been a preference of mine.
...but I wanted to experience time with a man much younger than myself.
It didn't work for me. He was very friendly but worlds apart in terms of how we each see the world. I've had children. He hasn't. He seemed quite self-centred and talked endlessly about himself. He was quite the gentleman, very polite but I think for him it was about being with an "older woman".
My question is: is there a line for you?....how young/older would you realistically venture in finding a suitable partner.
This isn't about judging others who have found happiness with sizable age differences. Just want to know people's thoughts on this.
I thought I was quite "hip"...."young at heart"....but my perspective of the world is much different to a man who is considerably younger than myself.
My good friend has always preferred much younger men. She is very energetic and young at heart. It seems to work for her. When she was in her 50s she was dating a late 20 year old.
I myself have always preferred the same age, or older men than myself.

wow 20" s? Way too young for me as my kids are in there 20" s too weird for me I prefer men around my age so we can age together gracefully
I really like to date women about thirty-years younger than myself. They seem to appreciate and enjoy doing more things, like: the laundry, dishes, dusting, vacuuming, mowing the lawn, trimming trees, sealing the asphalt driveway, washing windows, cleaning the SUV, getting the mail and newspaper, taking out the trash etc. ...
I went out with many older women when I was young. It was never with anything permanent in mind - just for a good time and good friendship. And it maybe something that older women should keep in mind when dating younger guys - they just want a good time first!
