Had Surgery at the end of 2010,and according to the Doctors there is still a Lesion there,but hadn't grown from '13 to '14,and I hope it hasn't done so in the past year as well!

After 30+ many-more-years age we do have to follow a routine medical testing. I hope you both get good results.

Cancer is rampant in my family. I've lost many to this disease, some smokers some not. It is not purely down to coal though as there are many types of cancer. My Mother, for instance, died from neither coal related nor smoking related cancer as did my grandmother. My uncle died from smoking related, my brother has survived massive cancer, though a major smoker but not coal; I believe we concentrate too much one 1 or 2 cancer related causes and not enough on the 128 causes.
