Not only that the government schemes are decreasing job opportunities here, by offering businesses and organisations money to take someone on and the government pay you to do it, so why the hell would you pay anyone a salary when you can get cheap and free labour
I give a whole speech one day on the phone last year around this to some poor sod ringing to see if we would be interested in the scheme

I found living in England overall cheaper. Can't say what has changed over the last 2 years, but when I moved here I was shocked about the prices in supermarkets.
Not sure at all now about Germany. Been too long I even set foot there, aside from the embassy in Dublin yesterday, and they did charge me a fortune just to verify one signature
