Too regimental for me, I am looking for a free to wander where you please type holiday. Do all the intellectual and sightseeing stuff during the day, and slum it with the hoopy earing girls at night in the cocktail bar.

Then Malta is a lovely option - lots of history, the silent city in Mdina is beautiful, the buses need extra life insurance - your adrenaline quota, family boat called The Rose that will take you out scuba diving, with his mam making the sandwiches for lunch, then back to the touristy accommodation (make sure you have aircon) - the Seabank Hotel in Mellieha is superb - before trying out the local fare - food or otherwise.
If you have sensitive skin, don't go in August lol.

It be like Madrid v Barcelona and I never seen so many police and security outside the stadium when there was the final ,,the barcelonafans were loaded on to the buses very quick,
I never seen so much unfriendly rivalry,,,,soccor is a religion to the Spanish ,.
