I grew up as a Christian, but then found Buddism. Where do the two come together or separate?

rohaan: I am Christian, and am sure that many other Christians would disagree with how I "see" the world, as far as spirituality goes. (I no longer believe that being a "non-Christian" is a deal-breaker). If one's spirituality includes unconditional love, understanding, non-violence, acceptance, forgiveness, peace, brother/sisterhood, and an overall embracing of the adage, "do unto others...", then I believe they are on the right track. JMO

I do (that's the Christian way, except I can either forgive or forget all bad done to me.) That will then make me non-christian. But not practiced by many Christians, especially those sitting in the front pew. I did not like how Christians evolved.

Buddism has different values. U look above and beyond the every day.

I was thinking of a strong intersection with regard to encouraging empathy.

The Buddha lived a couple of hundred years before Christ, and it
is more of a philosophy than Religion. Being a Buddhist you will
not be threatened with eternal damnation.

Obstinance_Works: Cruddism.

It's just one of those faux trendy cliches isn't it? Buddhism: The #1 choice religion that your parents don't belong to. A white person would do well to stint with Buddhism if (s)he wants to be considered properly white, or any other foreign religion that fits well into your home or wardrobe and doesn't require you to do that much.

There is a big difference between Christianity and Buddhism. Ur nationality, home or wardrobe will make no difference there!!!
