The number of times that I have met men for coffee, I have lost count of. And it all came to one round zero. Coffee is much nicer in the comfort of my home, without the vibes of a prospective partner interfering with my comfort.

How many times did ur coffee meeting re: a prospective partner turn into a round zero?

I am not at the meeting for the McDonalds coffee. I am there to meet her. Truly the cup of whatever is just something to use to hide my expression now and then. The food is just there to see how she copes with things. With a leg of chicken, does she pick it up and bite it, or does she insist on using a knife and fork? Does she even know how to use a knife and fork on a chicken (many actually don't, and if she is using them just to impress me, 4 seconds observation will tell me that).

OutsideofBali: I've given up on those coffee meetings long time ago and can't say my tea meetings are going any better. Soon I'll resort to meeting for a glass of water. At least it doesn't stain my teeth and doesn't leave a bad taste. Well, at least I hope so.

LOL, I haven't tried tea yet, does it work better than coffee?

Ive gotten permanent coffee nerves. Its worse though when you go out to a nice dinner and know nothing is going to come of it. Its also important to get to meet before you get stuck in a long meal with a drunk etc. Etc. and double etc.

Maybe for seconds but not the first time, but the coffee can change into plenty at the coffee shop/restaurant.

I took a small drink of coffee one time and I didn't like the taste.

I mostly drink decaf tea.

Harryonline: A friend of mine in the US recommended Rooiboa Tea. I read about it as something healthy.

I brought a big box looking forward to drinking it.

How wrong I was...it tasted "medicinal", the only way I finished the Box I brought was to add a regular tea bag with the Rooibos Tea bag...it was not noticeable then.

On the other hand drinking Green Tea made me very energetic...but it was short lived once you et used to drinking green Tea.

I'm thinking of trying out some other varieties

Well, I guess we r all different people with different taste buds, cultured in different areas of the world.
