I am kinda new to all this, but one thing I would suggest in my short experience is to deliver a message more than.... Hi. What is that?

Depends on the person. Some women I contacted before meeting my wife on here wouldn't even respond to a "Hi".....

I think that it takes time to even devlope a reasonable email chat friendship due to the suspicious nature of having to be so super careful online these days.

Then again I suppose it also depends on who is sending the message and whether or not you really want to reply to them....

I agree but a hi is not really a good beginning as an entire message.
Personally I tend to delete a hi and not look at the sender.
Kinda figure if they are interested they will type more than a hi. Its boring.

Well, from my experiences, I found that I had a lot more response from a simple "Hi" as an opener. Okay, I would say something like "Hi. I think we have some common ground. Would you like to chat via email for a while?"

So I suppose my "hi" message is more than a 'hi'. But then I also flowered a lot with a simple hi and a pic.

Had pretty good responses from that as well.

I hope that you get some better responses, because there are some really nice guys on here, just a bit shy and shell shocked from getting rejected so often.....

It's amazing how much they dwindle when you block everywhere except your own country, lol.

A more unique and interesting opening is what captures a woman's interest. Be creative and stimulate our brain or don't bother.
