This reminds me of a funny story. When I was in the rainforest in Oz, the guide told the story about the early settlers who used a certain type of leaf that looks really soft to wipe their butts. Turned out the fine hairs contain a poison that caused such bad swelling that the guys who used them to wipe their butts actually became very ill as they couldn't do their business anymore.
