Are you looking for the same thing as they do? Do they want to get to know someone with a view to a relationship or just some cheap thrills with a stranger via skype?
If something doesn't work (and more importantly makes you sad) change it. Go out, have fun, do things that interest you and that's when you might meet someone you have things in common with.

Maybe ur just not good on webcam, or ur voice sound funny?
Try first to talk on skype without the webcam, and see what happens!
