If you men did not make problems then we women would not have to solve them in first place.

mrweb: Not sure what to say really?

To be frank, I think he's honest and as for "eyes" I'd prefer honesty but then again if you look at 2intrigued eyes you'd run a mile.

Scary but true.

Give him a break man, we cant all look as good as you.

chriscmiller29: What makes me shy is the unknown factor. When I write a story, I know the characters I create, I know what one character needs to say in order so the other character reacts the way I want them too. But I can't do that with a real woman. I don't know how she'll react, and that unknown factor a lot of time freaks me out to no end.

To quote Debby Ryan, "I'm so afraid of saying the wrong thing... I just say nothing at all."

I'm fighting to change but that unknown factor scares me. I'm afraid of it, more than I'm afraid of anything else in this world... Afraid.

Do you have this same problem talking to men? Perhaps you should open your conversations with things that are common to all people, and see the conversations as friendly learning experiences instead seeing every one as a scoring opportunity.

Most of the great writers are very shy socially. You are going to put on your journey boots and step on your fears; not an easy thing to do but once determined it will get you places.
There are going to be women out there that will appreciate your talents and get connected to you.
We humans are social beings but part of our lives is to communicate and we do it not only writing but listening and talking.
Good luck! wave
chriscmiller29: You guys never seen Radio Rebel? Debby Ryan's character was completely shy in school, but when she got behind the microphone on the radio she bloomed. The shyness totally disappears, because they couldn't see her Didn't know her. I've been hurt too many times, I think the fear to try again has something to with it. But like Debby Ryan's character. When I write, I bloom... That shy guy vanishes. I am working on getting that same level of confidence in the real world. You can believe or not, the choice is yours. I don't care, I'm not here to convince you of who I am. This is real, this is me.
