“An inflatable dam in drought-stricken California was damaged on Thursday, causing the loss of nearly 50,000,000 gallons (190m litres) of water.”
Inflatable ???

doh

190,000 liters of water???
190,000 liters of water = 190 m3 of water

The house that I used to live at had a pool of
3X1.5X12 m = 54 m3 of water so the dam you are referring to
is about 4X

grin

Not big, really.

Inflatable???

laugh

Where was plan B!!!

Anyway, water does not go away, it flows...
it went into the San Francisco Bay, lovely place btw.

Ooooops

I did overlook the gallons and did misinterpret the liters because

190m is = 190,000 and
190M is = 190,000,000

So, no my pool was not that big foot in mouth and an inflatable dam is just something kind of impractical and risky anyway.
