My post:

RELIGION AND WHO WE ARE

I personally feel was a very good and beneficial to all humanity regarding awareness and how to initiate positive changes that can direct the world towards unity. If not even more for love and compassion.

Sure there were some off track posts, but why delete the whole entry?

Participated in by more than 300 reactions all of which were very civil and diplomatic arguments. Did you check the whole thing?

I feel it's not right that it was deleted, not for me, but for the grand scale of improving the world and all of us, creatures on this beautiful yet mysterious life.

That's all. You should put it back.

I think , in an open forum it's a must to have someone as a moderator to track the flow of the arguments, since there is no limit to one's mode of reasoning and understanding, there are times that it goes beyond limits that certain segment of the public can accept/percieve and thus provoke a negative effect and bring the topic useless if not
provoking, thus diverting the core of the subject.

I am aware of the rules, and believe me this is the only second write I've done that's been deleted.

I have written hundreds of them. When it goes by itself while I am away and generates a substantial sabotage, why discredit the whole entry?

Delete those that out of tracks, my opinion.

I wrote HOW MANY FOUND ENEMIES HERE?

Was deleted, I agree I went overboard on my insults to the one who always existed insults and superiority on my writes, that I apologize, but it had to end.

Bullies are not my cup of tea. It was responded on by 500 posts, 11,000 hits.

Truth is we do have more enemies than friends sometimes. In the end a lot of making up and apologies were made. A true message that we can learn and apologize and be forgiven. A most characteristics of a good human being, improving this cruel world.

I have had a couple of my threads removed....ordinary boring threads. What ever happened after I was not on line I do not know and did not ask.....It was sad because on one of the threads one of the posters is not here with us no more and will never post again. Sometimes we have no control over what happens only with how we react to it. Sorry about your thread. hug

It was a very healthy discussion about what us truly going on Happy and we can find solutions in order to avoid more annihilation but up until the last page, about 23, there was a talk about another thread mentioned for such a troubled reaction. Before I know about it, poof..

Well we could have learned lot.

Thanks. teddybear

Threads that are troublesome are deleted and locked.
Not big deal.

There might be other ways "for the grand scale of improving the world and all of us" than just a thread.

thumbs up

Yes Life.... we need to put things in perspective.

Whether one's thread is deleted, or one is banned or post is hidden.....it's not important in the scheme of things regarding real life issues.

Hi Berry
If the OP can hide people posts I do not see why not CS can delete or lock any thread?

Besides, we all are just guests here.

I forgot to tell you that I could not hide some posts (Mohamed's from Ghana) in one of my threads that was locked which btw i -myself- did report it asking for the power to hide comments very politely but I did not get it, instead they locked the thread.

I didn't witness the thread, sorry. But, clearly, there was something the Mods weren't happy about. You can e-mail them and state your case though I fear once its gone, its gone?!

Did you include a link to a site that they may deem 'soliciting other websites' perhaps?

DertyHarry44: and what about the others/you know?/the others

I have observed quite a few. I have been here for four years, wrote so many and most times most commented and although I voluntarily deleted most of them during my first profile, out of respect for the one I loved then (from Poetry Corner), this is the second write I have posted which to me did not quite deserved to be removed completely. I admit, the one entry I had on here went wild (HOW MANY ON HERE FOUND ANY ENEMIES?) about 40 pages and almost 11,000 hits, I believe triggered so many negative energy, but the good news is that in the end, it was a very REDEMPTIVE conclusion for everyone.

My point being is why delete a mark of progressive interaction? There will always be those that can't be pleased nor understand the way we do, but that is the purpose is to lay it out there for everyone to contribute.

I feel like I just have to go to Facebook and tweeter and leave this place.

I have met so many great people on here but I believe because it is free, does take a lot of freedom. I do agree, we can't present negativity more than it already is, around us but sometimes we have to express our feelings albeit as diplomatic and as civil as we can be.

I am not complaining, 500 writes and only two deleted is not bad.

Thank you all. Now I am not saying I am not guilty of that childish and irresponsible behaviour but I do beg to be forgiven when I do.bouquet bouquet cheers cheers comfort comfort wine wine
