You would have to ask people from other countries that question. But my guess would be, they don't care either way. laugh

Personally, if the ROI team doesn't qualify, and NI does, I would follow them with interest.

People from other countries (only my experience) class everyone born on the island as..................IRISH and they have a good grasp on history. Especially those people from former French, Spanish, Portuguese colonies...

What if both teams qualify and are drawn against each other to play?

Personally I support who ever the opposition playing against the O6C footy team are and if it's England, I don't watch..

I'm Irish witty. Not British. My passport say's....

"Iarrann Aire Gnóthaí Eachtracha na hÉireann ar gach n-aon lena mbaineann ligean dá shealbhóir seo, saoránach d'Éirinn, gabháil ar aghaidh gan bhac gan chosc agus gach cúnamh agus caomhnú is gá a thabhairt don sealbhóir"..

Translated...

"The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ireland requests all whom it may concern to allow the bearer, a citizen of Ireland, to pass freely and without hindrance and to afford the bearer all necessary assistance and protection."

Whats your passport say witty...

Why should I play any part in giving credence to a British administered gerry mandered state? The fact PSF became quislings in 1986 missed lots of people... >Not me.

Why should I support a football team that is entrenched in bigots, hate and plays the British national anthem at the start of every game?

I'm Irish thus hold an Irish passport, what other passport would I possibly hold grin

You come across as bigoted!!! This statement is even bigoted!!! Your statement also denotes hatred!!!!
Thus you seem similar to those you refer to?

By the way that does not mean I disagree with your statement in full,

I'm merely pointing out the irony.

Obviously I would support the ROI team then.

But as I said, I would still support the NI team.

So with out using the Vortex (Google) why don't you tell me how the O6C team was formed, the support base....The reasons why they play the British national anthem at the start of every game.

Why do they play at a ground co-hosted by Linfield FC...? Why don't they play at a neutral ground.. Have their own 'national Anthem'...?

No google..

Would you go the full nine yards and stand up for the British national anthem too?
