That sounds reasonable enough
I like to have some form of connection before I'd even think of meeting up - humour, easy conversation etc... I guess on here, then to text/phone, then to casual coffee would be my order of the day.
If I did meet up with someone, I'd like to spend as casual and normal a day as possible, so that each are comfortable and nothing is contrived - it's easier to get feel for (or off!) a person that way...

However, to cite an example - I was on another site some time back - got 413 visits to my page and lots of winks over a few weeks - and not one person said anything more than "you look nice". No one asked to meet, and those that did try and email bored me to tears with hi, how are you today, lol
