I'm very convinced we're getting set up for partial/full disclosure. It wasn't that long ago when all space agencies said "Sorry folks no life" now they're saying "We'll find life within 20 yrs"...
Plus I think it's very egotistical to think that life as we know it only "evolved" on this planet.

hmm maybe they mean theres microbial life somewhere which is an absolute in my mind but im not convinced that we ll discover intelligent life in that short space of time
you do raise an interesting question though. it is very egotistical to think we re alone. ive debated this all my life though. have an interest in space and astronomy myself. the fact is as it stands at the moment, we have not yet found a planet exactly like ours yet. now that could be cause of our detection technology or lack of or.... then on the other hand, maybe intelligent life forms on other planets in other galaxy's have involved in a completely different way to us. its all up in the air really.
interesting topic though with no absolutes
ive always wondered what would happen if we did detect other intelligent life form? would they engage? would the threaten us, would they ultimately exterminate us? who knows....
i need to get out more!

According to the man who flew US president Barack Obama during his 2008 campaign tour, virtually all pilots believe in UFOs.
Andrew Danziger, a veteran pilot with 28 years of experience in the cockpit has also admitted he's had his own brush with the unexplained.
The American pilot says he saw a white disc flying through the sky during a standard flight between Kansas and Iowa in April 1989. The white disc then changed into a "giant red ball" and glowed for about 30 seconds before disappearing into the clouds.
