IThere is a type of souvenir certificate that some hospitals may provide with the prints but those aren't official birth certificates here in Ontario. Not sure about the other provinces in Canada though.

I do have my children's little cute feet print on but I think they do after they take the sample from their little feet and see that there is not a genetic disease, I believe.
None of mine, though.
