In my parents’ home we (my brothers and me) had the same opportunities to go to school but in other families that was not the case.
In this land, still in some families the boys are favored and supported to go to school while girls are discouraged on the excuse that soon those girls will get married.
I do know of a family very close to me that all the men went to school and all of them got PhDs while the girls stayed home and now those 2 mature ladies are the ones taking care of their parents.
Was going to school better that staying home?
What matters is that the girls had not the choice to go to school.
As different as your culture and mine might seem, still we do have some bias against “girls” going to school.

I wish if you could visit karachi or any other city in the sindh ,you would be surprise to see women driving cars , they are on high Govt seats even in politics ,women are in NGOs and Banks and everywhere

Some women have important gov positions in several Muslims-Arab countries, but they are very few yet the average woman still needs to improve her education opportunities in your land and in mine as well.
Visiting your country is just not in my plans Ali but tank you, perhaps some time in the future.
