Hmmm... interesting, where i'm from is between 400 and 600 pesos.
Then you have the one called 'express' that is delivered instantly but that one is 900 pesos!!.

Last time I looked it was something in the region of A$300 for a ten year passport
Then I need to get a Resident Return visa cos I'm a British citizen ... another couple hundred bucks

I got my passport several years ago and I did pay $900 per 10 yr. However, at this very moment a 10 yr passport costs $2,265. pesos and there is nothing like instantly delivered, people have to go to the SRE office and go trought all the process "in person".

Last USA passport I got was at the Chicago Passport Agency. I paid an additional $60 bucks to expedite it then above the regular $75.00. I also got a USA passport Id card for $25 at the same time. Passport and Id both good for ten years each.
I get my Italian passaporto at Italy's consulate office in Detroit, Michigan. Walked in with money in hand and photos on a Thursday and returned the following Thursday with $60 and picked it up. Good for ten years. Need to renew my Italiano passaporto in 2016.
