hi rob , yes have couple of messengers

i use a chat program called Trillian and its currently unable to log into messanger
so have just reconfigured its settings using info on this page
Doing that i set Manually set it to Force HTTP as I'm using Spybot anti-virus Proxy Server and manually configured it also changed the hostname to:
pop3.live.com
Messanger still seems to be dropping out but does connect

changed mobile phone the other day, it spent three hours updating its self, finally updated 174 apps in it to protect the meta data they collect, not block, but insure it'd take court order to access the collected information
