Sepp Blatter and FIFA (20)

I think Sepp Blatter is going to face public, world-wide humiliation over FBI investigations of the seven who have been taken in for questioning.
Many people in football have been asking him to step aside but he simply refuses and gets the backing of most African, Asian and S American countries. How he keeps getting their support is probably at the root of the investigation.
When presented with the evidence gathered by the FBI and others, these Blatter backers will spill all when faced with the consequences of their deeds.
I don't think Blatter will do time but humiliation is on the way.

What do you think?

Good. It just shows arrogance to trying to sit this out. An organisation as big and rich as the FIFA will have some skeletons in their closet and there have been enough rumours of scandals etc. over the years.

There are a lot more organisations (sports, humanitarian and political) that could do with getting thoroughly investigated as well.

I don't think that man is capable of humility or humiliation.

He is too arrogant.

Sep(tic) blatter is a bloody liar and a disgrace. Last time he got
Elected he said the fourth term would be his last.
Now he has reneged on that pledge. UEFA is rotten to
The core. Make no mistake !
Hopefully (the right) heads will roll now !
This election should never have gone ahead.
It is another WhiteWash ! I really hope his fifth term
Comes to a very abrupt end. I am not by nature vindictive
Or a begrudger. But I love football and this man is no

i hope ta god he eventually goes. hes throwing the whole sport into disrepute. im not really a sports fan and i know nothing about football, but his behavior is absolutely disgraceful. if he survives this, theres no real hope for the sport. it will remain deeply corrupt. im glad to see theres an ever increasing support from people in fairly high positions within the sport, to see him go. hopefully their voices will be heard and their wishes carried out. this sport has brought so much happiness across the globe to billions. it needs to prevent people like blatter from ever gaining positions of power and control in order for its survival.

Not me, I'm only waiting for my neighbour Greg to fall, and maybe break his leg, just so he doesn't come over all the time, all day, every day. laugh

ive little or no interest in the sport myself but i realise how important its creation has had on this planet. it gives people a positive escape from their hum drum lives and prevents others from taking possible wrong turns in their life. its an incredibly powerful sport that positively influences billions across the world. people like blatter must to be prevented from getting involved in it.

He's a parasite.. Why is it so many parasites
Make it to the top in their chosen careers and
Get off so lightly or scot free when found corrupt
Bertie for examples

Who's enabling these parasites and are these
Parasites in cahoots between organisations
Covering each other

jt972: Me too I was reared up immersed in Gaa
But was a soccer fanatic, big match England
And Ireland Sunday, won't even watch it
20 years ago I'd have lived for that match

The games rotten, the likes of man city and
Chelsea.. Blow ins with suspect owners buying
Success, yeah big teams like man utd with tradition spend
Money but it's their own money the generated
Through success but others distort they game

On the pitch we have spitters, divers, biters
Whingers, arrogant players there's hardly a man
In the game, a**hole more interested in their dance
Routine or latest goal celebration gimmick
Instead of concentrating on their game and consistency
Celebrate with the fans don't dance and show
Off like an arrogant clown, fools I can't stomach
It anymore and I was a fanatic...

Try airtricity league, guaranteed no prima donnas (nobody can afford them).
Your fanatic support would be most welcome.

yea im convinced this is whats going on. maybe its a good idea but only time will tell. sure by the time the fbi present all their evidence, this story could have long moved on and we could have forgiven and forgotten about it at that stage. we ll see i guess.

True, I gave it a go down the years but the
Memories of the ball being in the air rather
Than on the ground stuck in my head
The standard has come up though but it will
Still come second to a good hurling match

No money there and real men the majority
Of them
