A reflection upon technological dependence,,,,,this question was also asked of television,....and of radio.....it is a dependence on the technology that "drives" our society,.....to a young child in drought stricken Africa,....with no access to advanced technology,....the world's reality becomes a drink of potable water......reality is simply what you perceive it to be.

At one stage the steam engine was considered the ultimate in technology.
I am sure in the future the internet will seem a primitive tool. and the technology then will be considered as the internet is today.
