Music composed 100's of years ago by the likes of Bach, Mozart, Debussy, Vivaldi etc has been enjoyed by billions over the ages. I think there are pieces of music being created today which could be considered "Classical" to future generations. What I call "Modern Classical". Modern Classical music differs from classical music of the past with the addition of voice and often a strong Afro-centric rhythm, jazz, regional influentes like Appelation Blue Grass, Cajun, C&W (what I call cowboy music) even music which has its roots in Rock & Roll.
Here is a small list I put together which I think would qualify as "Modern Classical music". All of them can be found on youtube. I'll post 1, you can search for the rest. They are: Blue Sky - Allman Brothers Watcher of the Skies - Genesis Controversial Suite - Duke Ellington Ballad Medley - Gene Krupa My own house medley - David Bromberg
Are there any you think would qualify as "Modern Classical music"?
