Both invite postings but are self moderated in two different ways. The thread has a ridiculous "Hide" option, which everyone looks at. At least you can see differences of opinion, regardless if the OP wants it or not. The Blog removes the different opinion completely, leaving an entire Blog with people that completely agree with the OP. How wonderful is that? Any ideas as to why it is set up that way?

I think the blogs are set up to appease the egos of fragile and vain individuals. I stay out of the altogether, no interest at all.

Yes, I've had one or two postings deleted on the blogs.
Regular bloggers don't like you to disagree with their views.
On the forums, anything goes.
I'm not sure if some bloggers could survive out here.

I read somewhere that James Warren Jones probably designed the Blog concept.

Don't know why it's set up that way but it's convoluted and part of the reason why I rarely ever post in the blogs. There's enough drama in the forums to contend with.

abcWOMAN: You deleted my post on your blog. Why? I don't believe for a second you live in Sweden.
I could say the exact same thing about you. But I won't beause I'm a gentleman, try being a lady and behaving like one, that includes no more pestering of my blogs and stop hiding your profile after making a nasty comment.
