I listened to his interview for his candidacy in the presidential race and while he seem a very sensible man to tackle the job, I was so amazed at how seriously stupid the questions asked by the interviewee.

If I were him, I would have loved to ask him: "what he thinks are the most pressing problems in our country today and how will he propose on solving them?"

Anyways, has anyone heard of him?

Nope, probably because I don't have a TV, and my homepage(Yahoo),
leans to more Canadian content.

Pedal, you can google him and read his book, Gifted Hands or simply go through his biography and you will know him.

I personally like his simple take on politics, meaning not too polluted or shaped up vis a vis greed and manipulation based on his life, but I haven't heard him talk about the problems we have right now..

Google him Tru and and quite frankly, to me based on non affiliation with veteran politicians he might have a clean hand and clear agenda as to what move America needs to shape up.

Then he probably has a shot at it without knowing about him and
only of his competition.

Most unlikely but if the whole of US would suddenly be out of the bubble and look from outside of the box, maybe. The problem is that we are so conditioned by too much lies and deception already, some would not even care anymore.

Obama started out as a very simple no nonsense person, but politics got the worst of him and he became just like everyone else. A liar and a manipulator, governed and directed by those that serve greed very well.

I like his upbringing String. He seems sincere and a true believer of what is good. I share his beliefs in God. He was raised as a Baptist and believe in the higher spirit which serve for the good man. Maybe our true hope for a good leadership..

There is a brilliant gem in that saying because it is very true. But the truth of the matter is, where does majority lie in all these? Wouldn't there be a percentage that is taken into account in order to serve the majority which is the very core of democracy?

I believe what is wrong with the US is that it has turned away from GOD. did you know that GOD blessed America. that is why it has been prospering for so long. but they have turned from his guidance. as you can tell things are not running so smooth for them. in fact the whole world. nobody believes that but it is what it is.

I agree with you whole heartedly String..WE have to establish that believing in God is a very serious matter. And while we are at it, what is wrong in believing in God that supports good for everyone? I can't understand why people insist on their conflicting belief as long as our belief doesn't cause harm, danger, chaos and killing?

Anyone?

Is my belief in God hurting anyone? No, if anything my God, Jesus, doesn't advocate killing, harming and or hurting others, does it?
