The busted is getting more attention than ISIS. Methinks ISIS should kill a lion. Maybe then the world will take notice

me thinks ISIS is already making a name for themselves. its jus the media is blocking most of the stuff out no one notices until the media says anything.

“Cecil the Lion” was killed in early July, authorities said. A spokesman for the dentist, Dr. Walter Palmer, told The Guardian that Palmer, 55, may have shot the lion.

“What he’ll tell you is that he had the proper legal permits and he had hired several professional guides, so he’s not denying that he may be the person who shot this lion. He is a big-game hunter; he hunts the world over,” Palmer’s spokesman told The Guardian in a statement.

A professional hunter and the land owner where the lion was killed have already been criminally charged.

On July 31, Zimbabwean authorities said they will try to extradite Palmer to face criminal charges for the illegal hunt.

“From investigations carried out so far it shows that the whole poaching event was properly orchestrated and well financed to make sure that it succeeds. The professional hunter, client and land owner were therefore all engaged in poaching of the lion,” the Zimbabwe National Parks agency said in a statement. “Unfortunately it was too late to apprehend the foreign poacher as he had already absconded to his country of origin. We are appealing to the responsible authorities for his extradition to Zimbabwe so that he be made accountable for his illegal actions.”
