I have been startled to hear that the same Chinese don't want to pay for the milk we send them . My mum used to make a rice pudding with milk , not bad as I recall . Guess the Chinese use water , bet there is more food content in their water than our milk along with a happy mix of every other product known to man .

Think they purchase a lot of baby food powder from Aussie, a quick check on google:

"At the moment this year, it's around an $18 billion infant formula market in China,"

"By 2018, that'll be around $33 billion.

More than 2 million tonnes of dairy products roll off the trans-Tasman multinational's production lines annually to markets in more than 100 countries, but the company's recent joint venture with China is the jewel in the crown.

"We've invested $NZ740 million to buy an 18.8 per cent stake in Beingmate, the largest infant formula player in the Chinese market with around a 10 per cent share," Ms Swales said.

another site in part says:

Australia’s Freedom Foods Group has launched ‘Australia’s Own Kid’s Milk’, its first branded retail food product for the Chinese market, in China and Australia.

The product is being marketed in China by Shenzhen JiaLiLe Food Company (Shenzhen JLL), the group behind one of the largest selling ready-to-drink beverages in China. It is the first product launch by the two companies, who have entered into a 50-year marketing and distribution agreement.

Each year, China buys more than US$100 billion of imported food from across the globe,’ she said. ‘In the face of competition from the US, Europe and New Zealand, winning in China requires an investment in brand and relationship building.’

On 16–20 March 2015, four Australian dairy companies will join 19 other Australian companies at Premium Australia, a three-city travelling showcase of premium Australian food and beverages.

we are leaving behind a mean world . I know the men who fought in ww11 were making sure the poverty that existed before the war never returned in an inequitable way . Some of them farking well told me so as I was surrounded by men who served . Egalitarianism was the watch word on politicians lips . The current bunch of leaders world wide would not know the meaning of the word .

yeah , but Aussies crash all sorts of planes . Better to have them ready than be short when they are needed . That cost NZ dearly at the start of ww2 putting our troops up against tanks with bayonets in Greece .

dunno but my old man got kicked out of Crete, floated a landing barge without an engine all the way across to Egypt and got given a gong for it, also i think trip back to NZ before heading back to dodge the yank bombs dropped in the Battle of Monte Cassino.

Anyway i was member of NZ combat brigade group and understood in the event of a major conflict we all had life expectancy of 10 days.
So you better hope the kids over their still play Cowboys and Indian's which was probably the best training i ever had
