A woman wants a man to be strong, supportive and have respect for her and their relationship. A man wants to care about his woman, he wants her to be strong so they can be strong together, he wants her to respect him for being her man, and for loving and caring about her.

It's a well known fact that women like to take their frustrations out on men by nagging them. The men have done nothing wrong yet have to endure women's nagging just because the women have nothing better to do than nag.

All sounds like game-playing to me. Treat people as you would like to be treated is my motto. I don't agree with anyone's idea of 'treating them mean to keep them keen'. Does it work? Maybe, in some cases. I wouldn't want to be with someone who treated me like that. Nor would I think a whole lot of a guy who's willing to be walked all over. It's hard to respect someone who doesn't have respect for themselves, or gumption.

This is the thing Bird1977, not all birds are nice, a lot aren't and they are the ones who need to be kept in line, otherwise they will end up treating their men like women and walking all over them.

I don't agree with the "Treat them mean keep them keen " philosophy at all.
Mutual respect, caring and patience and a bit of give and take , goes a long way.
