Not quite accurate, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between the genuine daters and scammers. Oh well, there's always the forums to entertain as it's usually a long wait to be contacted by a genuine person.

I think we all suffer from "once bitten twice shy" syndrome, now none of us is game to make a move, cos we are all frightened of rejection or failure...

I agree in part with that comment.
I think there is a tendency for men to hide in their caves after rejection or failure of sorts.
...and I think women are over cave rescuing....so we end up with a stalemate. No-one wants to make a move, so we all stay in transition land on the forums and blogs.
It doesn't really bother me.
I just come to this mad place to get away from that crazy world out there....
